Social Justice

Reaching out to help others – not only through monetary gifts, but also through hands-involvement – is an ongoing commitment at Redeemer. It’s reflected in the work of our Outreach Committee, and in the personal efforts of each of us.

We support projects serving people in the local area through organizations including the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). We participate in diocesan outreach projects, and support the outreach efforts of Episcopal Relief and Development and the greater Anglican Communion.

COVID 19 has impacted some of our social justice activities and they will resume as conditions allow.

We are challenged to end poverty and malnutrition, to promote world health, work for justice and peace around the world, and to overcome racial, ethnic and religious strife.
