Reply To: Mutual Aid
We have been offering mutual aid to those in our school district by spreading the word about fundraising to get our kids computers to do schooling from home (it was successful and Woodland Hills now has enough computers for students! YAY) and by helping with ideas of how to honor our graduating seniors (we will be delivering yard signs next week to celebrate them). We have also been sewing masks for neighbors and family, checking in on our surrounding neighbors to see if they need anything, and constantly checking in with our own students (not our kids, the ones we teach) to make sure they are OK. I think OK is a fine place to be, no one is great right now with so many worries and what-ifs, but we are surviving and we are employed and we are healthy! All great blessings!
