Christian Formation
Sunday Bible Study: A small gathering for people of all ages. We seek to learn more about what the Bible says and how we may relate it to our own experiences.
Choir and Music Program: Our choir is a mixed ensemble of volunteers and student Choral Scholars. We sing traditional Anglican repertoire, spirituals; and music from other Christian traditions. Bi-weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 pm and 9:15am on Sundays for Eucharist. There are no auditions required.
Centering Prayer: This is a deep method of silent prayer that prepares us to experience God’s presence within us. Held Friday mornings, 7:00-8:30 am. Location varies. Meetings include centering prayer, lectio divina, and a short reading with discussion. Join us!

Fellowship
Craft Group: The group meets monthly to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, rug hook, sew, make pot-holders, share good will, conversation, company, and generally ponder!
Young Redeemerites Group: Redeemer wants to provide opportunities for young people to socialize and volunteer together. In addition to assisting with church events, we hold social opportunities for our 20-40 year olds quarterly.
Altar Guild: The Altar Guild works to prepare the church for Sunday and special services. Serving the church as a member of the Guild provides a chance for some “quiet time” in a busy week and is a good opportunity to get to know other church members.
Altar Service (Acolytes/Crucifers/Lay Readers): Altar servers, also called acolytes, include the chalice bearers (offer bread and wine at the Eucharist), the crucifer (carries the cross for the procession and assists the priest), the thurifer (carries the incense on certain Sundays) and the torchbearers (carry candles during the procession before and after the service and for the proclamation of the Gospel). Lay readers, known as lectors, read the lessons on Sundays.
Church Garden/Grounds: Redeemer has a National Wildlife Federation Certified Garden and maintains our gardens regularly. Members may sign-up to care for a garden plot each year. We have participated in the National Aviary’s Nest Watch program and hosted bird banding events to track the health and diversity of birds on the church Grounds.
