Live Streaming Options and Service Updates

Dear siblings in Christ,
Based on the direction of our bishop, all services at the Diocese will now be held to a very restricted number of people at church sufficient to celebrate Holy Eucharist. Redeemerites are encouraged to watch the live streaming of our services. Your vestry and I are making efforts to communicate with you both how to keep ourselves and our church property in good order in light of the changing national situation around this virus. In this time of restricted movement and contact, we will use the tools of our time to be an intentional community that cares for each other, helps each other, and prays for each other.
We will live stream the Wednesday evening 6:30 PM Signs of Life program, and the 10:30 AM Sunday morning Holy Eucharist Services. For the time being, there will not be an Sunday morning 8 AM service held, and we ask that all members participate in the services via the church’s Facebook page. Simply go to Facebook and search for the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Once on the page click on the live video button and you will see the video begin at 6:30 PM and 10:30 AM for the Wednesday and Sunday services, respectively.
There might be a hiccup or two around audio or video, but be patient! These are the means by which we can continue to be connected. Also, by the end of the week our webpage will have a blog where we are we can share our prayers, needs, or concerns with one another.
Lastly, Rev. Diane and I are putting together a phone tree where we will reach out to each other my phone calls and support each other in the Body of Christ.
Feel free to call one another and I encourage you strongly to do so. Feel free to call your priests at any time.
God is here for us and we are here for each other.
Peace be with you all,
Father Michael+
