Black History Month Film Screenings & Other Events

Please help celebrate Black History Month at Redeemer with two back-to-back after-church film showings!
On February 17th, following the coffee hour, we screened  “Independent Lens: A Ballerina’s Tale,” a 55-minute documentary about Misty Copeland, American Ballet Theatre’s first African American ballet soloist.
On February 24th, following the coffee hour, we will share “Standing on My Sisters’ Shoulders,” the 60-minute story of the Mississippi Civil Rights movement from the point of view of the women who participated in it.
